WASHINGTON, D.C. - Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) President and CEO Michelle Korsmo today announced an expansion of the organization’s communications team with the hiring of Christina Sartori as the senior manager of strategic communications. In her new role, Christina will be working closely with WSWA’s senior executive, the state and federal government affairs teams and members across the country to craft and distribute internal and external communications.

“WSWA is respected and effective advocating on behalf of American family-owned wholesalers – communication with our members and external stakeholders is key to that effort,” said Korsmo. “We’re excited to bring another experienced communicator on to the team.”

Prior to joining WSWA, Christina was an Account Supervisor at Crosby Volmer International Communications (CVIC), working across a variety of industries to develop and implement strategic communications for her clients in the trade association space. Before joining CVIC, she was an Account Executive with CounterPoint Strategies, providing counter-adversarial crisis communications for titans of industry, trade associations and financial institutions.

“I’m thrilled to be joining WSWA,” said Sartori. “I’m excited to dive in, start working with our members and help tell their stories.”
