Registration is Now Open for the WSWA 76th Annual Convention & Exposition to Be Held March 31-April 3 in Orlando

 

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Registration is now open for the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) 76th Annual Convention & Exposition, the industry’s leading event that brings together wholesalers, suppliers, service providers, importers and exporters under one roof.  This can’t-miss beverage alcohol industry convention will be held March 31-April 3 at Grande Lakes Orlando, a combined JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton property.  Act fast to take advantage of early bird registration rates.

 

New this year is the addition of a retailer and consumer day featuring a Master Mixology Class, Wine Seminar, and wine and spirits marketplace with tastings and a variety of wine and spirits merchandise available for purchase.    Also new is our Supplier Leadership series focusing on Craft Beverages and Distribution.

 

The WSWA 76th Annual Convention & Exposition will feature two packed Exhibit Halls full of exciting new brands, products and services as well Traditional and Lower Level Suites showcasing new and longstanding industry suppliers. 

 

The Wine and Spirits Tasting Competition provides opportunities for old and new brands to earn recognition while the Wholesaler Iron Mixologist Competition is an action-packed battle between leading cocktail pros before a live audience emceed by Tony Abou-Ganim, The Modern Mixologist.

 

The Opening Night Reception sponsored by the American Distilled Spirits Association features a lively mix of bars and brand displays showcasing the style and sizzle for which the WSWA Convention & Exposition is famous.  Also returning is the popular and widely-attended Brand Battle, WSWA’s version of Shark Tank where pre-selected brands, pitch our panel of industry experts and influencers –and take feedback—live on our competition stage.

 

Returning for the second year is the Wholesaler Leadership Series, a half-day educational forum only for WSWA member wholesalers will offer panel discussions and presentations to help arm leaders with the latest marketing, sales, product and trend information.

 

The General Session will  showcase a top speaker as well as remarks from incoming WSWA Chairman Sydney Ross of Great Lakes Wine & Spirits as well as new WSWA President and CEO Michelle Korsmo.  The association will also recognize two industry giants, presenting the Sidney Frank Innovation Award and the Lifetime Leadership Award, each to be announced in the days ahead.
