(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America President and CEO Craig Wolf today announced the internal promotions of six staff members across multiple departments.
Lisa Bockelman has been promoted to Senior Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. In addition to supporting the chief executive, Bockelman helps manage a variety of ongoing association projects and strategic initiatives benefitting WSWA members. Bockelman joined WSWA in 2014.
Arielle Broussard has been promoted to Manager, Federal Affairs. In this capacity, she assists with the management of WSWA-PAC, the Women’s Leadership Council, the association's annual legislative fly-in, and ongoing political branding initiatives. Broussard joined WSWA in 2016.
Katherine Brown has been promoted to Director, Finance and Administration. Brown joined WSWA in 2012 and now oversees project management, association operations, benefits and assists with finances and HR.
Heather Calio has been promoted to Senior Director, State Affairs. Calio joined WSWA in 2015 and is responsible for advancing issues important to wholesalers across the country at the state level by working with state advocacy associations and the WSWA Advisory Council to monitor state policy and regulations.
Emily Magram has been promoted to Manager, Communications and Membership. Magram started with WSWA in 2017 and is responsible for planning and executing campaigns and programs that support the association’s meetings and conventions team. She also oversees the WSWA Educational Foundation College Scholarship Program.
Catherine McDaniel Vice President, Federal Affairs, has taken on an additional role as Director of the WSWA Women's Leadership Council. McDaniel has been with WSWA since 2007 and has helped the Women’s Leadership Council quickly evolve in two short years, leading an Advisory Board of volunteers who connect monthly to execute its mission. WLC provides women wholesalers an opportunity to network with leaders, advance skill development and inspire peers across the industry.
