(WASHINGTON, D.C.)—The Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) announced today the recent addition of three new staff members: Meg Taylor is WSWA’s new Digital Media and Communications Manager; Becca Britt has joined WSWA as Technology and Support, Meetings and Conventions Coordinator; and, Michael Steiner is Accounts Payable and Administrative Assistant.
Taylor joined WSWA from the Strategic Marketing Services team at Hanley Wood LLC, a real estate media firm. Prior to her time at Hanley Wood, Meg spent three years on Capitol Hill, where she served as Director of New Media for Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), then Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee. Previously, she was Digital Media Coordinator for Rep. Scott Rigell (R-Va). Meg began her career on Congressman Rigell’s 2010 campaign. Meg received her bachelor’s degree in communications from James Madison University, and she will receive her master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University next summer.
Britt previously worked for the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU), where she was responsible for recruitment and retention of members. Prior to working at APSCU, Becca attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Steiner is a 2015 graduate of The College of William and Mary, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Michael also completed a study term at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, as well as volunteer work on The Kibbutz Harduf and an Organic Farm in Fay, France. Michael has also worked in the Gauthier Vineyards tasting room and as a sales associate at Williams-Sonoma.

With 362 member companies across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, WSWA is the voice for wholesalers in Congress, the executive branch, the courts, with the news media and in communities across America. Member firms represent 80% of the total U.S. wine and spirits market.
