December 5, 2017 marks 84 years since the United States ratified the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and paved the way for the modern three-tier beverage alcohol system.

WSWA Welcomes Rebecca Noel as Digital Media and Communications Manager

(WASHINGTON, D.C.)—Rebecca Noel has joined the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) as Digital Media and Communications Manager, the association announced today.

In this position, Noel is responsible for implementing and executing digital and online communications programs across multiple channels including the WSWA.org website, WSWAConvention.org website, as well as a host of association social and digital media platforms. She will also manage photo, video, email marketing and government relations communications projects. Noel reports to Vice President of Communications and Membership, Jeffrey Solsby.

“Our association staff continues to reflect the rapid and ever-evolving climate in which our industry and members operate,” said WSWA President and CEO Craig Wolf. “Rebecca’s rich communications background will help us deliver consistent, effective and valuable products and services to our members, the media and the industry at large,” Wolf added.

Noel joined WSWA from Porter Novelli, a global public relations firm where she worked for nearly three years. While at Porter Novelli, Noel developed, executed, and managed numerous consumer marketing and communications campaigns in the food, beverage and nutrition sector.

Prior to her work at Porter Novelli, Noel worked at Van Eperen & Company, a public relations and strategic communications firm based in Rockville, Md. A native of Baltimore, Noel graduated from University of Maryland, College Park in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

With 350 member companies across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, WSWA is the voice for wholesalers in Congress, the executive branch, the courts, with the news media and in communities across America.
