21st Amendment Ratified, Prohibition Ended

December 5, 2017 marks 84 years since the United States ratified the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and paved the way for the modern three-tier beverage alcohol system.

Throughout the year, WSWA hosts a number of events and meetings for wholesaler members, including the January Executive Committee Meeting, Fly-In and "Toast to Congress," CLD Meeting, Fall Membership Meeting, and State Policy Conference.

2018 Fall Membership Meeting

October 8, 2018

The annual Fall Membership Meeting (FMM) is WSWA’s primary annual governance meeting where Board members start determining next year’s agenda and provide direction on legislative, legal and regulatory matters. FMM also offers members the opportunity to network with fellow wholesalers and state association executives as well as engage with a host of interesting speakers.

2018 Winter State Policy Conference

December 12, 2018

The Winter State Policy Conference provides an opportunity for wholesaler state association leaders to discuss the political and legal issues facing wholesalers across the country. By comparing notes and discussing strategy, the meeting increases the effectiveness of state associations and allows wholesalers to speak with a unified voice. The WSWA staff use this as an opportunity to receive input from state associations leaders and the implementation of national legislative and legal goals.
